Piemonte, where the new frontier of sustainable manufacturing developed by Bazza becomes reality.

 Bazza designs and manufactures super-light, indestructible, and 100% recyclable design products made from renewable sources. Founded in 2021 by an Austrian entrepreneur and based in Piemonte in the city of Oleggio (Novara province), the company manages the entire value chain internally: from materials research to automated production and international online sales, the company has established itself thanks to a production model based on the principles of sustainable manufacturing.

The project in Piemonte

Piemonte was chosen for its extraordinary industrial heritage, perfect for a company blending advanced manufacturing and design. In addition, the company’s headquarters are situated in an exceptional location, halfway between Torino and Milano, and just a stone's throw from Milano Malpensa, one of Italy's main airports: all these factors guarantee perfect logistics management for global distribution and easy access to a network of excellent local partners and suppliers.

The project was launched in 2021 with the acquisition and redevelopment of 15,000 square meters of disused industrial buildings, supported by a private investment of € 5 million in infrastructure, robotics and a 1.4 MW photovoltaic system. Following the award of three regional grants in 2025, the investment will expand to develop three new R&D lines: transparent BLISS accessories (eyewear and beauty cases), seamless injection-molded “soft-bags” and modular outdoor furniture made from foamed BLISS. The goal is to create a zero-impact production ecosystem that, once operating at full capacity, will provide employment for approximately 100 local families.

Piemonte Agency played a key role in introducing Bazza to the regional incentive ecosystem and assisting in finding subsidized finance experts, allowing the company to greatly accelerate the R&D projects.
