From February 27th to March 5th, Piemonte is at Expo Dubai showcasing the excellence of design expressed in its history and future.
The path narrated by Regione Piemonte (Regional Government) in the Short Stories finds inspiration in the connection between Beauty and the culture of design, rooted in its tradition and the engine of innovation, an element that unites the complex of industrial and artisan knowledge that has always animated the area.
From Car Design, the spearhead of Piemonte’s know-how, to the excellence of the production districts - textile, goldsmith, household, and food and wine - where designers and craftsmen have been able to exploit the opportunities of new technologies by enhancing the tradition of local production by creating unique design objects, true icons of beauty and Made in Italy, up to the experiments in Fashion and Interior Design and the new frontiers of robotics and aerospace.
Piemonte invites visitors to Expo 2020 to discover its innovative design, production and artistic competence: a heritage inextricably linked to its past that opens up infinite possibilities.
The exhibition is developed in seven sections located in the display cases at the Short Stories area within the Italian Pavilion. The main themes are illustrated through meaningful objects and images kindly provided by local entities including companies, museums and schools.
